I reached out to Doug and Vicki when I wanted an outside perspective on a body of work that I
was putting together for the 2013 Ballarat International Foto Biennale. This outside perspective
helped me to clarify my ‘artist statement’ and keep me on track. Doug and Vicki have a worldly
perspective on art and art photography, I respect their judgement, their humour and humanity
and would recommend them to all aspiring artists and photographers.
Doug and Vicki were my informed observers.

Exhibitions @  Head-On Fesival in Sydney and 2 solo shows @ Gallery Frenzy, Brisbane

After a long time away from photography and the exhibition scene I was a learner again in ‘this brave new digital world’ and so I consulted the Doctor and Vicki who gave me invaluable advice on all facets of image and paper selection, post-processing adjustments, the order in which to hang an exhibition and how to optimise the use of an exhibition space. They gave me an experienced and objective point of view that ensured that the continuity of the storyline of my exhibition was never compromised. Like a book, there was a beginning and an end. This and their relaxed approach reassured me that I was in good hands and gave me the confidence to exhibit again and again.
